Caregiver Services Associate

Family & Nursing Care, a growing, fast-paced home care registry with an excellent reputation for serving the senior community since 1968, seeks a Caregiver Services Associate with a commitment to excellence.

The Caregiver Services Associate is responsible for assisting with sourcing and registering self-employed independent contractors (caregivers), licensed as Certified Nursing Assistants, Registered Nurses, or Licensed Practical Nurses, for referral to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Review caregiver-candidate registration forms verifying they meet the requisite criteria.
  • Participate in administration of TB Program.
  • Assist with background and reference checking.
  • Prepare caregiver-candidate files in preparation for review by supervisor.
  • Schedule and coordinates interviews and other office activities with caregivers.
  • Enter newly-registered caregiver information into database.
  • Assist with coordinating newly-registered caregiver introductory business meetings.
  • Handle all related office visits and phone calls from caregivers and others.
  • Ensure and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, in both hard copy format and in database.
  • Act as an information resource for caregivers.

Requirements:

  • Current RN or LPN license preferred to assist with PPDs, TB screenings, and candidate clinical skills testing.
  • If no RN or LPN license, must have two years experience in recruiting nurses.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Pleasant, professional telephone and in-person demeanor; ability to relate effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with a sense of urgency despite numerous interruptions and background noise.
  • Data-entry experience and ability to navigate large database of information.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize workload.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
