County Executive Isaiah Leggett presented Family & Nursing Care with Montgomery County’s Community Partnership Award. This annual award is in “recognition and appreciation for implementing a highly successful public/private partnership between Family & Nursing Care and Holiday Park Multiservice Senior Center that has continuously supported the programming initiatives that enhance the lives of older adults living in Montgomery County. Family & Nursing Care’s sense of giving back to the community in numerous ways over the years is to be commended.”
Since 1968, Family & Nursing Care has called Montgomery County “home.” Sandy Kursban, Founder/Chairman, stated, “We have taken great pride in our relationship with the County, and in particular, Holiday Park Senior Center. Recently, we have been proud to partner and participate in some very successful programs, such as last fall’s “Memory Fitness,” several Law Days, Senior Arts Fair, and others.
