Jennifer Zukerman is the Vice President of Community Relations for Family & Nursing Care. In this role, she leads the company’s community and business development efforts across suburban and central Maryland, Washington, D.C., eastern Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. She is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, strengthening referral relationships, expanding market presence, and leading initiatives that support the company’s and Family & Nursing Care Foundation’s long-term growth.
With more than 30 years of experience in institutional advancement, fundraising, and operations management, Jennifer joined Family & Nursing Care in 2026. She brings a collaborative leadership style and a proven ability to build strong relationships that create lasting organizational impact.
Before joining Family & Nursing Care, Jennifer spent more than two decades at a large private school, where she served in senior leadership roles in fundraising, operations, marketing, event planning, admissions, security, information technology, facilities, and auxiliary services. During her tenure, she expanded annual, capital, and endowment campaigns, strengthened donor engagement, secured major gifts and grants, led complex construction projects, and cultivated relationships with government officials, community leaders, and philanthropic partners. She is passionate about connecting people, building high-performing teams, and finding creative solutions that drive growth while strengthening communities.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from George Mason University. When not working, she is active in the community and enjoys being outdoors, cooking, baking, gardening, learning through books and podcasts, and spending time with her family.
