Haja Sesay

Haja Sesay has been a caregiver with Family & Nursing Care Select for seven years. With a warm and welcoming approach, Haja finds great joy in meeting new clients and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for. She understands that the first interaction is crucial in building trust, and she strives to create a sense of ease from the very beginning.

One of Haja’s most cherished memories is with a client who accidentally called her “Haha” instead of Haja — a name that playfully stuck for years. Moments like these remind her of the deep bonds she forms with those she cares for, turning daily interactions into meaningful connections.

Haja advises caregivers to maintain consistency in their daily routines. She highlights the importance of approaching all tasks with care and a positive attitude, emphasizing that no task is too difficult. This perspective, along with her dedication to caregiving, contributes to the lasting impact of the relationships she has built with both clients and their families.

Outside of caregiving, Haja enjoys playing cards, tennis, and staying active through exercise. Originally from Sierra Leone, she prioritizes relaxation on her days off by listening to music and unwinding.
