Sherry Peach-Walker is the Vice President of Human Resources for Family & Nursing Care. In this role, she oversees the hiring, management, and training of staff. She also helps ensure that staff live out the company’s guiding values, and they remain committed to meeting the needs and expectations of clients, families, and professionals.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the home care industry, Sherry joined Family & Nursing Care in 2005. During her tenure, Sherry has held several roles of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Vice President of Client Services before transitioning to her current position.
Prior to joining Family & Nursing Care, Sherry served as community relations manager at Thomas House, account manager and work/life consultant for elder care at LifeWork Strategies, EAP, and director of volunteer services at the Washington Home & Hospice of Washington.
Sherry’s dedication to home care is rooted in her personal experiences caring for aging relatives where she witnessed the complexities of navigating healthcare systems while ensuring high-quality care for her loved ones. Through the years, she has presented at the National Hospice Organization Conference, co-organized community outreach programs such as a children’s bereavement camp and wellness workshops, and managed an alternative therapy program.
A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Sherry enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, and their dog, Molly, whom the family rescued in 2018. She is also a strong proponent of organ donation, travel, and time with friends.
